Full Winter Protection for New York Skis

New York winters are rough on personal watercraft, especially skis that spend the season in saltwater. Water left in the cooling system can freeze, fuel can go stale, internal engine surfaces can corrode, and exposed hardware can seize before spring. A proper winterization prevents those problems before the ski sits for months.

AOG Performance handles the full process from flush to wrap. We protect the engine, cooling system, fuel system, steering components, and exterior so your ski is stored clean, dry, and ready for spring recommission.

What a Full Winterization Service Includes

Salt Away cooling system flush — We flush salt and mineral buildup from the cooling system before storage so corrosion is not sitting inside the ski all winter.

Engine fogging — Fogging oil protects internal engine surfaces, cylinder walls, rings, and valves while the ski sits through the off-season.

Oil, filter, and spark plugs — We service the oil and filter and replace spark plugs when needed so the ski is not stored with contaminated oil or weak ignition parts.

Steering lubrication and corrosion prevention — Steering components are lubricated, and the engine bay gets anti-corrosion spray to protect exposed metal, connectors, and hardware.

Antifreeze pump-through — We pump antifreeze through the system to protect against freeze damage in the cooling passages and exhaust-related water paths.

Wash and shrink wrapping — Before wrapping, the ski gets washed so salt and grime are not sealed under the cover. Shrink wrapping helps protect it from weather, debris, and moisture during storage.

Pickup and drop-off available — If getting the ski to the shop is the hard part, ask us about pickup and drop-off options when you schedule.

Spring Recommission Service

When riding season comes back, we can recommission the ski with a fresh inspection, battery check, fluid check, cooling system test, and startup verification before it goes back on the water. Winterization protects the ski while it sits; recommissioning makes sure it is ready to ride.
